Last month, the 1000th photo by PhotoCosma got accepted on Stocksy United. The collection keeps growing every month and I’m really happy about the quality and variety of them. Here are also the top 5 images from last month – December 2018:
It’s time for my Stocksy Top 5 of the month, where I select five photos that I like best from what has been accepted on Stocksy United the previous month. This time we have some mountain photos that evoke freedom, some interesting night ghost apparitions, some roads in autumn forests, some hiking in morning light and some strange abstract glowing shapes. Here are some of my best photos from September 2018:

Hello everyone and welcome to autumn! A bit later this month, but here is my Stocksy United top 5 for the last month, August 2018. There are enchanted woods, moonlight photos, abstract details, unknown hidden scenes and magical lights in the forest. The Stocksy Top 5 of the month for July 2018 has a lot of variety: mysterious dark haunted forests, surreal abstract cosmic backgrounds, moody scenes of trains departing the station, silhouettes at night gazing at the stars and vintage moody still life scenes.

It seems that the top for last month has taken a turn for the dark. There were a lot of great new additions to the Stocksy collection in June but these seem the most interesting because they go hand in hand and they all share this dreamy dark surreal esthetique. It’s almost a mini series of surreal imagery. The only image that is a bit merrier is the one with the winding road going through the enchanted forest, but it too is full of mystery. It’s that time of the month when I bring you a selection of my top five photos on Stocksy from the previous month. It was a tough decision because there were a lot of new uploads the last month and every one of them was carefully chosen. These are my Stocksy top 5 picks for the month of July:
A bit late this month with the top 5 photos from Stocksy, but a lot is going on right now. Nevertheless, some great photos made their way to in February, some of which even got curated by Stocksy so here is my top 5:
Although I am usually interested in the atmospheric and moody part of nature, I also find flowers with their colors, softness and universal beauty as an appealing subject. I use techniques like screens and all sorts of textures placed in front of them to make them a bit more special. Maybe I’ll write more about the process sometime.
I’ve made the photos above (plus others) available in a gallery now just in time for Valentine’s Day. You can get them by clicking the link in the description of each photo, or by going to the gallery “The Softness of Flowers”
